Greensboro Urban Ministry Holiday Honor Card
"The Gift of Caring"
Since 1983, Greensboro Urban Ministry has presented a holiday honor card each year as a meaningful way for individuals to honor a friend or loved one by providing a gift that honors them and also helps our neighbors in need.
This year, we held our 3rd annual Holiday Honor Card Art Contest. The winning design for this year’s card is titled "The Gift of Caring", designed by local artist Marie Stone-van Vuuren. The 2025 Holiday Honor Card image is a painted wintry scene of
a young girl helping an elderly woman. The image was created out of a desire to impart a message that small acts of kindness are the most important daily activity, not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year. The elderly, homeless, and poverty stricken are often over-looked, and presumed they will be cared for by others. The young girl in the image wants to do her part to help in some small way.
Currently, this year's Greensboro Urban Ministry Holiday Honor Card is by pre-order only until Nov. 3rd. To pre-order your cards, please choose from the links below:
Pick-up Orders Only
Shipping Orders Only
Pickup Orders will receive an email when orders are ready. Pickups will begin November 4th. Pickup times are Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:00am-1:00pm, except Thursday, Nov. 20 due to our Feast of Caring event and on Nov. 27-28 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Shipping Orders will begin shipping by November 3rd. You will receive an email when your order has shipped.
Please note, we cannot guarantee a delivery time frame from the US Postal Service.Holiday Honor Cards will be available at retail locations beginning the week of Nov. 3rd.
