One of the most important ways you can support the Greensboro Urban Ministry is through your tax-deductible financial contributions.

  • Donate by Phone - We are pleased to accept your Visa, MasterCard or American Express by phone. Simply call Aquilla Lanier, Finance Director, at (336) 271-5959 ext. 306.

  • Donate Online - We can accept Visa, MasterCard or American Express. All transactions are processed via Secure Socket Layers (SSL) for your protection. Click on the "Network for Good" logo below:

    Contributions are tax deductible within the limits of federal and state law. Financial information about this and a copy of its license are available from the State Solicitation Licensing Section at 1-888-830-4989. This is not an endorsement by the state.


  • Alternative Giving - Looking for a special way to recognize your colleagues and business associates during the year? Trying to find a meaningful gift for friends and family members? Alternative Giving may be just what you're looking for!

    Your gift to the Greensboro Urban Ministry can be made in honor of someone for a special occasion (holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) or to remember a loved one. Your designee will receive a special acknowledgement card informing them our your generous gift. Make your donation online and select the appropriate box to make an alternative gift, or mail your check along with a completed Donation Pledge Form to the following address:

  • Donate Stock - We are pleased to accept your donations of stock. For more information about how to proceed, contact Aquilla Lanier, Finance Director, at (336) 271-5959 ext. 306 or aquilla@guministry.org.

  • Planned Giving - Planned giving involves integrating your charitable gift into your overall financial, tax and estate planning objectives to maximize benefits to both you and the Greensboro Urban Ministry.   • Donate Clothing - The Clothing Bank will accept (M-F, 8:30a-5:00p): clothing, shoes, household items, linens, and small appliances ( toasters). Sorry, We Do Not Accept: large appliances (dishwashers, stoves, tv's, etc.), cars, furniture, or mattress/box springs.
  • Donate Food - The Greensboro Food Bank is open Monday - Friday from 8-5 and Saturdays 9-1:30. Our food bank warehouse is located behind HealthServe Ministry, 1002 South Eugene Street. Click here for a list of food items needed.
