The Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk is an annual 5k community walk that raises desperately needed funds to feed the hungry, not only in Greensboro, but all over the world.

Over 6,000 area walkers turned out on Sunday, October 18, 2009, to honor the memory of Kay Youngblood, the “mother” of the Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk. The walk is estimated to have raised more than $197,000 to fight hunger in our community and abroad and donations are still coming in.  Organizers are optimistic that we will exceed last year’s total of $209,000!  If you would like to donate to the CROP Walk, please visit us online at: www.greatergreensborocropwalk.org.

.Since 1981, the Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk has raised a cumulative total of $4 million with more than $957,000 going to Potter's House.
